FIBRO GmbH is setting the course for the future: In July 2026, the company's official headquarters were moved from Weinsberg to Haßmersheim. This means that the legal headquarters of the company now also reflects the actual conditions, because the standard components division has been based in Haßmersheim for more than six decades, strengthening its location in the Neckar-Odenwald district.

The history of FIBRO began in 1958, when Klara Fischer and Werner Brodbeck founded Fischer-Brodbeck GmbH in Weinsberg. With the continuous growth of the company, another part of the company was built as early as 1962 on the site of the former Reichsschwefelwerk in Haßmersheim. In the decades that followed, the site developed into the centre of the standard parts division and had a significant impact on FIBRO's success story. FIBRO has been part of the LÄPPLE Group since 1974. Today, Haßmersheim is the main location of FIBRO Normalien and an important development and production site with an international orientation. For historical reasons, the company headquarters remained in Weinsberg. With the official relocation of the company's headquarters to Haßmersheim, it is now also legally understood what has been lived reality for many years. At the same time, this step underlines the company's close ties to the location and sends a clear signal of its long-term importance within the LÄPPLE Group.
